Makibie Releases Connect: Project Management Tool for Creative People

Merrimack, New Hampshire – August 21, 2007
Makibie is thrilled to announce the release of Connect, a web-based project management tool used to help manage the life cycle of web applications from conception to deployment. Connect makes it easier to manage and share documents, wireframes, designs, and tasks all through one interface. It enables every team member, including project managers, stakeholders, designers, usability specialists, editors, information architects, developers and other creative folks, to stay on the same page. The interface of this tool, however, is organized around a particular team member, like a designer, and it shows them only the project materials they are authorized to view at any given point during the project. By restricting team members in what they are allowed to see, Connect will easily and effectively ensure the security of the project. Modeled on Agile Development, this tool will help with the integration of web applications through the design and development phase of any given project.

The end goal of Connect is to help harness the chaotic energy of a creative team and keep them functioning as a whole. “This project management tool was created specifically for a team environment. Each member of the group will be able to track their daily tasks and prioritize their own pieces of the puzzle,” explains Rob Maille, the founder of Makibie. Connect can also be easily expanded to integrate with other organizational tools, allowing for a seamless transition for your project team.

Connect is available in team or enterprise addition. To learn more contact Makibie at connect@makibie.com or visit www.makibieconnect.com.
